Listening to Audiobook shopping for dresses

I love shopping, every Saturday afternoon I head down to the town centre to shop for dresses and T-shirts for women. If I can’t find what I want in town then I hop on a tram and travel to a place called Meadowhall which is a huge shopping mall in Sheffield. It is fantastic you can get any designer label from Meadowhall and there are little boutiques on the ground floor which sell quirky clothes which are more individual.

Shopping for clothing on my own often gets quite boring, so I often take along an Audiobook to listen to whilst perusing the shops. It makes looking for items of clothing much more appealing. Often in the shops they have loud music on, so my Audiobook drowns this music out to make my shopping trip a much more enjoyable experience.

Last Saturday I was listening to an Audiobook which was about overcoming my fear of flying. As I am going on holiday in two weeks I thought it apt that I should listen to this whilst shopping for dresses and T-shirts for women for my holiday. So I put on my headphones and pressed play as I entered the first shop, which was a designer shop. I found five T-shirts – which I purchased. Meanwhile the Audiobook was teaching my relaxation techniques, to use before I get on the plane to try to combat my fear of flying. It’s strange because I only seem to get a fear of flying on the way out to my destination. On the way back I am much more relaxed and don’t seem to have any fear.

I moved on to the next shop, I found some beautiful dresses, some which were great to wear on the beach and others were great for the evening. I bought a floral dress with buttons and frills on for the beach, and a sarong type dress also to wear on the beach for use over my bikini. Then I bought a black evening dress which had criss cross straps on the back, plus I also bought a short black dress to wow the boys in the evening.

I went to the Tommy Hilfiger boutique and I purchased another dress which was an off the shoulder number with frills around the collar, it had a stripy belt with a round buckle on, the dress length was below the knee, it was perfect to wear abroad on a glorious evening when dining out.

By the time I had traveled to town then meadowhall and done a serious days shopping, I was ready for home. When I stepped in the door of my house my Audiobook came to an end. I hoped that my shopping experience combined with listening to my Audiobook, would help me combat my fear of flying, for now though I looked through my dresses and t-shirts, and hoped that my Audiobook had worked, but I had another two weeks to wait before I could say with any certainty.
